Besides great cities like Salzburg and Vienna, we will also be staying in Halstatt, the smallest and most beautiful lakeside city in Europe, where everything from ancient chapels to cafes, shops and inspiring mountainous backdrops come into view everywhere you go. The village Hallstatt is such an unbelievably spectacular place that even the Chinese have created a copy of the ancient village in Huizhou on the mainland. But only in the original will you discover this truly unique culture with such a history all in a breath-taking mountain setting.

Dining is always another priority in our trip. Again, you will be served with diverse options, from haute cuisines at high-end restaurants to traditional Austrian dishes in the winery heartlands. As Austrian, especially the region along DanubeRiver nearby Vienna is known around the world as a wine country, there will be opportunities for you to sample some of the finest liquor it produces.

While we venture deeper into the Austrian culture, we will discover that music is their way of life. Not only is music played in the churches, but also around the street corners, cafes and other public places. As Salzburg was where famous music prodigy Amadeus Mozart was born and brought up, our itinerary will provide for your enjoyment of a Mozart Dinner Concert in Salzburg in one of its oldest restaurants where diners are served traditional dishes prepared from the recipes of Mozart’s time, amid the greatest Mozart compositions. But if you want a deeper immersion into the city’s great musical heritage, you can attend a live performance by the Vienna Mozart Orchestra at the Golden Hall of the Musikverein as part of an optional program at own-expense. For those who have seen the great Hollywood epic the Sound of Music, we will take you down memory lane, right to the doorsteps of those scenic spots where some of the movie’s most memorable scenes were filmed. An optional program at self-expense can also be arranged for you to attend a Sound of Music Dinner Show, where you can see a stage performance of the music live, after savoring local Austrian cuisines.

For this trip, the accommodation we have chosen for you will be very different from what you have experienced before. One of them is the famous Grand Trivolia Resort with a history of over 80 years old, but has been recently refurnished with state-of-the-art amenities offering modern comfort and convenience. Apart from sophisticated living, we also stay in small boutique hotels, nestled in the Alpine slopes or alongside the lake front in Hallstatt, all of them oozing with a unique character, set amid beautiful natural scenery. As they come with a limited number of rooms, the boutique hotels require a booking commitment before they could allocate the highly sought-after rooms to us. If you register with Jumbo Golf before 15 March 2013, you will enjoy a special early bid rate. For those who register after this date, a higher rate will apply and successful reservation will depend on the accommodation places available.
