On the road to Porthcawl, Llanerch Vineyard is a must to visit. Featuring the largest and oldest premier vineyard in Wales. Standing in more than 20 acres of beautiful Glamorgan countryside, it offers an opportunity to participate in gourmet activities by learning about and sampling great wine and food. All guest will have a winery tour on Llanerch Vineyard with wine tasting (inclusive).

Love Spoons ~ It is easy to imagine a man after a hard day's work, in a period of no radio or television or cars, spending his leisure time during dark evenings carving a spoon for the girl he loved. The man would spend hours carving the spoon with his own hands, in the hope that the girl would accept it. If the girl accepted the spoon, she would demonstrate her interest in him and they would commence on a relationship, which is the origin of the word 'spooning'.

 After seeing the carving shop, the coach will take the guest to The Heritage Coast.

 From the spectacular coast to the breathtaking Heritage Hills, there's a land of mystery, legend and imagination. The heritage coast stretches for 14 miles from West Aberthaw to Porthcawl, and along the way showcases some beautiful low cliffs and dramatic coastal scenery. More remarkable still are the extensive sand dune areas in the west, including some of the largest dunes in all of Europe at Merthyr Mawr Warren.
